Preseason Training

Location: Winston Churchill High School Track

9:00AM-10:30AM

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 

Starting Monday, August 10th

Attending preseason training is highly encouraged but it isn't meant to curtail family vacations or other obligations. Players can begin preseason as soon as they are available.

Tryouts for 2026-27 season 

Location: Cabin John Ice Rink.  Full gear, full-contact

• Monday, Aug 31, 2026

• Wednesday, September 2, 2026

• Friday, September 4, 2026

Attending tryouts is important. There are no "make-up" dates for tryouts.  Players should make every effort to attend.

Players will be notified of Varsity and/or JV team placement on or before Monday, September 7.

Practices

Varsity

• Tuesdays, 5:30AM-6:30AM, starting September 8, 2026 

• Thursdays, 5:30AM-6:30AM, starting September 10, 5:30AM-6:30AM

• Cabin John Ice Rink, full gear, full-checking

JV

Mondays, 3:00PM-4:15PM, Cabin John Ice Rink, starting September 14, 2026

Tuesdays, 2:40PM-4:00PM, Churchill Track, starting September 15, 2026

Wednesdays, 3:00PM-4:15PM, Cabin John Ice Rink, starting September 9, 2026

Thursdays, 2:40PM-3:40PM, Churchill Classroom, starting September 10, 2026

On-ice Practices are full gear, full-contact unless otherwise notified.

Practice attendance is mandatory unless legally absent from school on that day or that player is excused in advance by the coach.

League Dates:

• First Permissible Game Date: September 25th, 2026 

• First Permission Varsity Game Date: October 16th, 2026 

• Last Day for In-Season Play: Feb 6th, 2027
